ENG: Perfect indie game, I usually leave some recomendation based on things the game could add to be better but this time I think this game is pretty good as it is. I'm waiting for a continuation of the story. I enjoyed the game a lot live ;).

As someone starting out in indie game dev myself and very interested in story telling, this game is extremely inspiring. Thank you!

Wow, that was great! Reminds me of Mike Klubnika's short horror games. Great atmosphere, but the UI could maybe have used a font more fitting to the pixely/PS1 graphics instead of the very modern typeface.

Awesome work, I'll be looking forward to see what you'll come up with next!

If you have Steam installed (+Proton), you can

  1. Download and unzip Descending
  2. Click on "Games" in the toolbar (at the top of the client)
  3. Click "Add a non-steam game to my library"
  4. Browse for and select "Descending.exe"
  5. Navigate to the game in your library
  6. Select "Properties", then "Compatibility"
  7. Check "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
  8. Select a Proton version (I used "Proton 9.0-4")

You can do this for most games that doesn't have a linux port.

i LOVE the aesthetic of this game, it fits the subject very well. the gameplay loop is satisfying by adding more difficulty up until the final day. it's just challenging enough for a casual playthrough, while still delivering good tidbits of lore. i had a great time and experience with this game, kudos (:

(+2)

Loved the game! Really dark and gritty but super fun to figure out

Блин, чуваки, вот мы офигеем когда в подобной игре сделают хорошую концовку. Ну ей богу блин, что-то кроме "обманутый главгерой бесславно умер мучительной смертью"
